A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini

A thousand splendid suns is one of the novels I believe a person has to read it at least once during their life time. Khaled Hosseini is a talented author that can paint the cruelty of the world so clearly, yet one can still see beauty in its harshness. It’s a story about Afghanistan and its violent history from the Soviet invasion to its reign with the Taliban. It shows even in the worst of situations people can survive.
